Meet our PTC Officers:
Caryn Novotny - President
Caryn graduated from Oklahoma Christian University with a Bachelors of Science. She is a registered nurse in orthopedics. She has a daughter and a son that attend CVCA. Caryn and her husband, Curtis, have been members of South Yukon Church of Christ for many years. They are both excited to be active in the success and growth of CVCA.
Chris Hill- Vice President
Chris is the father of a CVCA student. Chris and his wife Kimberly are members of South Yukon Church of Christ. Chris is a Consultant for a firm that is involved in the oil and gas industry. Chris and his family are originally from Texas and have been residents of Yukon since 2016. When Chris is not helping with the PTC, Chris and his family enjoy spending time together outdoors enjoying the lake. Chris looks forward to continually growing the relationships between the parents and teachers to further benefit our students. Chris and his family are all excited to be involved in the success and growth of CVCA.
Heather Cave - Secretary
Heather is the mother of a CVCA student and the wife of Forrest Cave. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Services Counseling with a focus in Aging Services. Heather began working in the healthcare field in 2012 and has done everything from bereavement care to HIPAA management. When she is not attending one of her son's sporting everts or helping with the PTC, you can find her at a campground near the lake soaking up the sun and enjoying the peace and quiet. Heather looks forward to helping promote parent/teacher relationships and building a stronger community among the CVCA parents through family fun events and fundraisers.
Josh Morris - Treasurer
Josh grew up in the Yukon/Mustang area and graduated summa cum laude from Oklahoma Christian University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting in 2009. He started his career in the tax department at Ernst & Young (EY) but transitioned to financial planning and wealth management in 2012. Josh is licensed as a CPA in Texas and Oklahoma, is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional, and holds the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation from the AICPA.
In 2022, he and his wife Lindsey moved back to Mustang with their children, and their son loved his Kindergarten year at CVCA! Josh and his family attend the Lakehoma Church of Christ in Mustang, and in their spare time, they enjoy going to KidStrong, playing soccer, and spending time together with their friends, family, and their dog Maya. Josh is excited to serve as the Treasurer for the PTC and looks forward to the fundraisers and events that can enrich the lives of the teachers and students at CVCA.
Angie Drebenstedt- Event Planning
Destiny (Angie) Drebenstedt met her husband on his birthday in 2010, they have been joined at the hip ever since. (Great B-day present!) Combining their families and creating their own, they have 6 children and 4 grandchildren.
When Angie isn’t busy with her family, she works part time as a Respiratory Care Practitioner and works at OU Health Center in Oklahoma City.
Angie has always been passionate about her children and being involved with them. She had an in-home state certified daycare, served as a substitute teacher and on the PTA board at her children’s elementary. More recently, she has helped with aftercare and substitute teaching at CVCA. She is excited to be on the Parent Teacher Committee and looks forward to engaging with and supporting the Students, Staff and Families of our amazing School.
Brittni Strickland- Fundraising
As a dedicated wife and mother of two, Brittni has a balanced family life with a fulfilling career and extensive volunteer work. She currently serves as the Financial Operations Manager at Hope is Alive Ministries and the General Manager of Retreads Thrift. With over 17 years of experience working with schools, her commitment to supporting education and community initiatives have been a cornerstone of her volunteer efforts. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, cheering on TCU football, and spending quality time with her family. She is excited to bring her passion for education, financial expertise, and fundraising spirit to the PTC committee.
Shana Foster- Member
Shana holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from Mid-America Christian University. Shana started her career in the dental field in 2002 and is currently Practice Coach for Catalyst Dental Allies. She is married to Jeremy and they have two children that attend CVCA. Her oldest has been at CVCA since it started in 2016-17 school year. Shana grew up at the South Yukon Church of Christ. Her hobbies include her children's sports and hunting. Shana served as the President of PTC for 3 years and helped get it started and loves watching all the good it has done to help CVCA grow!
